        <p>For the safety of all: Please note that the speed limit here on the property<br />
of 15 MPH. Pay particular care coming around corners on your way out and<br />
driving in the right lane just as you would on public property. </p>

      <title>Possible Attempted Break&#45;In</title>

        <p>JUST AN FYI: We had a report from a resident of a possible attempted<br />
break-in or property damage over the weekend at the 100 Building at its<br />
patio gate. The lock was damaged - and gate was open. This resident always<br />
keeps the patio gate locked. However nothing was taken nor otherwise<br />
disturbed.</p>

<p>Just remember to stay alert to all suspicious activities, persons and<br />
noises. Also stay in contact with your neighbors when possible.</p>

      <title>Possible Water Shut Off &#45; Tuesday, 12/27/11</title>

        <p>We woke up to a substantial water leak at unit # 301 on Christmas morn.<br />
Management did not know if there might be a water shut off if repairmen were<br />
called and knew it would be difficult without water on Christmas Day with<br />
families home, etc. Tomorrow however plumbers will be sent but the water MAY<br />
have to be shut off to that building. Hopefully it will be only a few hours.</p>

        <p>With an unyielding drought and minimal budget the Board of Directors has been examining ways to help beautify the landscaping on our property. We have therefore come up with an &#8220;Adopt Your Building&#8221; Program where each owner or resident could actually plant certain items around their units or buildings themselves - at their own expense - and create a more pleasing atmosphere. A Landscape Committee will be set up and some simple guidelines are now being established. More info will be coming soon, but please see the attached flyer. </p>

<p>Also note that the attached flyer mentions to be conscious of any City of Houston requests pertaining to water conservation. Unfortunately just today there was such a request by the COH asking that watering be done only on certain days of the week. That new info will also be posted. </p>

      <title>Alert to Residents &#45; FYI</title>

        <p>Yesterday afternoon there was a report of a car burglary sometime during the<br />
late night hours on Wednesday at the 900 Building. The owner stated it is<br />
possible that the vehicle was not locked. Several items were taken. There<br />
was also a report of an unlocked vehicle belonging to a resident of the 1300<br />
Building being rummaged through - with nothing missing. Then a wheel was<br />
taken off a bicycle that was secured to a pole outside the 400 Building -<br />
but only the wheel. </p>

<p>Again it is important to make sure that valuables are not left in your<br />
vehicles and that they are not left unlocked. As for bikes it is much better<br />
to put them inside than secured to a pole as even heavy duty bike locks can<br />
be cut by thieves very easily - actually within seconds. </p>

<p>Right now we are in a precarious position because of the construction along<br />
Braeswood with possibly unsavory characters poking around the construction<br />
site and then deciding to see what else they can find on these premises.<br />
Please stay alert and observant of your surroundings.</p>
